HERITAGE Bank Limited instructed the young people to take an approach to set specific savings goals that would help them establish a timeline to achieve their goals.

At the Elevate Conference in partnership with Heritage Bank themed ‘Express Me! Entertainment and me’, which was held in Lagos, the young people were instructed to dream big.

During the event, Ozena Utulu, Ag. Group Head, Corporate Communication of Heritage Bank revealed that the institution is at the forefront of preparing millions of young Nigerians to achieve greater goals of understanding career opportunities and preparing for employment and entrepreneurship.

She revealed that the bank has made it possible for the young people to increase their financial options by connecting to Heritage Bank’s mainstream financial products, which gives them additional motivation to actively work towards their savings goals.

One such product, according to Utulu, is the YNSPYRE account, a product specifically aimed at the entertainment industry, populated by mostly young people in video and film, and music, who use their voices to express themselves.

Meanwhile, Utulu further noted that setting goals and visualizing what you’re saving for can help you reach your goal quickly.

According to her, Heritage Bank has continued to advocate for wealth creation and financial inclusion, especially among young people, as it is the channel for progress in today’s dynamic world.

Also speaking at the conference, Rev. Mavi Isibor expressed his gratitude to Heritage Bank for the partnership and belief in youth and the creation of opportunities that would help them achieve targeted goals.

“I am delighted with the intelligence level of the young in this generation (Gen. Z), as they are exposed to knowledge that the older generation cannot handle.

“The conference brought young people together to mentor, coach and give back to the next generation to make a difference,” she said.
