Jigawa state governor candidate Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido has attributed the peaceful departure of Jigawa state to cooperation between security forces and traditional and religious leaders in the state.

The governor candidate made the disclosure in his post while congratulating the people of the state on the state’s 31st anniversary.

The statement signed and made available to Tribune Online in the capital of the state of Dutse Jigawa, by the deputy director of publicity of the PDP campaign directorate of Jigawa state, Malam Umar Kyari Jitau, said: peace is leaving despite the security challenges facing the country , including its neighboring countries”.

Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido expressed his gratitude to Allah for making it possible to get this far. also praised the people of the state, especially traditional and religious leaders, for their guidance and resilience who have kept the state peaceful despite many challenges.

He also praised the state’s security forces for their hard work and devotion to duty that enable the state to enjoy peace despite the security challenges facing the country. He urged the residents of the state to pray for continued peace, stability, progress and prosperity in Jigawa State in particular and Nigeria in general.
