A seven-year-old boy, Adam Afolabi, who went missing for five days in a neighborhood of Mushin, Lagos state, has been found in the Ojo area of ​​the state.

PUNCH Metro reported that Adam was missing after his older sister, Zainab, 19, sent him on an errand to buy cookies from a store near them.

The minor was said to be on his way to purchase the cookies when three unidentified men took him to an undisclosed location.

However, the situation panicked Adam’s family and a search was launched to determine his whereabouts.

Speaking to our correspondent on Monday, Adam’s father, Kazeem, who was reunited with his son at the police station, said that Adam was kidnapped by three men who put him on a bus.

He said the minor was later found in the Ojo area of ​​the state, roaming the streets because he couldn’t find his way home.

‘We found the boy. He was found in Ojo. According to him, three men kidnapped him and bundled him in a bus. He said they dropped him off at Ojo’s without hurting him,” Kazeem said.

About how the police found the boy, he said: ‘My son was taken by the Baale of the community to the police station where the kidnappers dropped him off.
