The general overseer of the Deeper Life Christian Ministry, Reverend William Kumuyi, has stated that only God will determine the country’s next president, in 2023.

Also, the cleric noted that everything is in God’s hands regarding the change of power next year and that the Nigerians will rejoice at its end.

Kumuyi made the statement Wednesday at the Osemawe palace of Ondo Kingdom, when he visited the monarch, Oba Victor Kiladejo.

The visit was part of the church’s activities to usher in a six-day crusade labeled “Global Crusade with Kumuyi” in the Old City.

He said, “For next year, 2023 on the election, everything is in God’s hands. I want to tell you that nowhere in the world does a pin drop without God’s knowledge and no one goes through without God’s control. He controls everything that goes on.” happens in the world.

“Will there be elections next year? would there be no election? Who will be the president of our country? Who will step out as governor of each of the states? Known to God for the beginning of time and what we want in response to the problem of quarrelsome people in our country. What He wills will come true. When a lion comes, no rat stands in his way and tells you not to pass.

“If the Almighty says this is what it is, for Nigeria in particular, for 2023 in particular, no elephant of a man can stand in his way. God’s will will be done and we will all rejoice.”

During the program, Kumuyi explained that the Church chose the city of Ondo for the Crusade because God Himself chose the location.

“Right now we choose Ondo City because God led us to do so. He, God, chose Ondo for GCK,’ he explained simply.

In his remarks, the Osemawe said the crusade would benefit the city and the state in general.

Earlier, the governor of the state, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, had received the pastor and his team in Akure, where he praised Kumuyi for his passion for preaching the gospel and said his visit to the state would bring good tidings.

Akeredolu also praised Pastor Kumuyi’s prowess as a former teacher and accepted the invitation to join some of his cabinet members on the crusade.
