The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Muhammad Fadah, has assured staff members that his government will provide a favorable work environment and staff housing to boost employee morale.

The NYSC chief gave assurances when he paid a courtesy call to Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria director Madu Hamman in Abuja on Wednesday, adding that a friendly work environment and a residential apartment were a necessity for every employee.

Fadah also made a request to the FMBN to raise awareness among NYSC officials to allow them to take advantage of the bank’s federal government housing loan and other welfare packages.

In his comment, the general manager of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria stated that every person was expected to have affordable housing. Hamman added that the bank offered various housing plans across the country with many developers and still partnered with other organizations and co-operatives.

He said. “The bank is doing a lot to make housing affordable for Nigerians through mortgages. We come to raise awareness among NYSC staff because there are areas of mutual interest where we need to work together.”
