The All Progressives Congress in Oyo State has called on police and other security forces to investigate the alleged threat to the life of Senator Teslim Folarin by the leader of the Oyo State Park Management System, Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi, also known as Auxiliary.

The party said Auxiliary, in a video that was in circulation, threatened Folarin and said this was a matter of serious concern to the party.

APC secretary in Oyo state, Alhaji Tajudeen Olanite, said in a statement on Sunday that aid and governor Seyi Makinde should be held accountable should anything bad happen to the APC governor candidate.

The APC said the threat should not be taken lightly as such issues need serious attention.

The statement read: “The attention of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State has been drawn to a video currently in circulation in which the chairman of the Oyo State Park Management System (PMS), Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi, aka Auxiliary, APC vehemently threatens governorship candidate in state, Senator Teslim Folarin.

“We want to express our concern for the safety of Senator Teslim Folarin.

“The infamous collision at the Iwo Road Interchange that led to the murder of an Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) medical student and countless travelers; the bloody attack on innocent phone salesmen on Iwo Road that killed one of the phone salesmen in the area, and the recent attack on residents of Ali-Iwo area that killed two people are still fresh in our minds.

“We have no choice but to call on the state security forces, especially the Nigeria Police Force Oyo State Command and the Department of State Services (DSS) to investigate the threat posed by Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi to Senator Teslim Folarin’s life. speed it up before it’s too late. leave.

“We are also asking the police and DSS to strengthen security around the APC governor candidate.

“There is no doubt that Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi sees our party and its candidate for governorship as the stumbling block for his principal engineer Seyi Makinde’s bid for the second term.
