According to him, some suspects escaped and eight people were arrested, including Obioma Chibuike aged 18, Achazie Chidiebere aged 22, Onyedikachi Nwadike aged 19, Anayo Onyemere aged 51, Ifeanyi Mboyi aged 26, Chukwudi Onyeausi aged 29, Obodo Promise aged 17, and Ifeobu Ebubechi 22 years.

The PPRO said an on-site investigation revealed that all the arrested suspects were from Agwa and Izombe communities, respectively.
