Tanzania’s Young Leaders Forum 2023 Is Accepting Applications Now

The Young Leaders Forum call for applications for the 2023 cohort has been released by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung.
A multidisciplinary program on social, economic, and political issues at the national, continental, and international levels, the Young Leaders Forum (YLF) brings together bright, engaged young people and political activists who are promoting social justice and democracy.
Over 500 graduates from the program’s 20 years of continuous operation. The participants meet for 2 to 3 days once a month for 6 to 7 months to engage in interactive sessions on the current challenges affecting Tanzania and the world that they must address as leaders.
eligibility requirements
Those who qualify should be:
- Between 21 and 35 years old;
- Tanzanians and currently residing in Tanzania (Mainland and Zanzibar) and should be in the country during the course of implementation;
- Holders of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent or pursuing first degree by the time of application;
- Politically active;
Involved in a project or initiative and/or active in civil society, political parties, or trade unions.
